San Diego, CA- Michael Uslan the Executive Producer of the Batman Film Series and author of "The Boy Who Loved Batman" is interviewed by David Kamatoy and Erin Keepers about all things Batman at the 2012 San Diego Comic Con. The interview takes place in front of the Warner Brothers Batmobile display. Michael Uslan starts the interview in front of the Batmobile from the TV series. He talks about how he was inspired by the Adam West Batman Series but not in a good way. As a true fan of the Dark Knight comic books Michael was devastated by the comical take on his boyhood hero. It was then that Michael Uslan made a Super Hero type Vow to bring the true Dark Knight vision to screen. He eventually and not easily attained the movie rights from DC Comics. Uslan furthers his Ultimate Geek Status by sharing that he was actually at the original Comic Con and that many of the traditions that are followed at the comic con he was actually a part of for the first time.
